On top of the day-to-day stresses that life enjoys throwing at us, navigating through an abundance of complicated resources to find out how to access support can feel very low on the priority list. Sounding familiar?
Well, not to worry, we are going to provide you with an easy guide of what we offer, who can access our services and how to go about doing this, so that you have all the information you can possibly need. We have got you covered!
So, let’s start with what we offer. We have a whole range of services for each stage of your young person’s development. All of this detailed information is available on the main website https://www.perthautismsupport.org.uk/ however, below is an overview list of our services and what we offer within those services:
Whilst we offer each of these services, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are Universal for each child. At Perth Autism Support we believe in bespoke support plans, meaning that each child that seeks help from our services has a completely unique experience depending on their individual needs and challenges. Now, this sounds confusing and might leave you wondering, well what can I access? Don’t worry, we can explain this quite easily with our PAS Pyramid of support:
To access any of our services you have to be registered, and to do this, it is actually quite easy… contact us! You can do this through emailing: registration@perthautismsupport.org.uk. Once you have emailed us, you will be contacted by one of the wonderful Family and Education Services team to register you. At this initial stage, you will be able to access any of our universal services of support, if you think you need additional support after this point, you will be able to put in for a referral to our more targeted and/or specialist support avenues. If you’re not sure what support you need or would benefit from at this point, then don’t worry, we can guide you through that at any point.
