Individual Children's Plans
At Perth Autism Support, we are committed to ensuring the best support for our children and families while they are with us in activities and with this in mind, we have a robust planning system in place to take into consideration the needs and aims of each individual child accessing Perth Autism Support.
For every child who comes in to service, our Activities Team work with the young person and their family to develop a targeted plan which is reviewed on a termly basis. To collate information on the young person, we work with families to complete an assessment form along with a staff member which allows meaningful, individual targets to be made.
It is really important to us that we take the views of young people into consideration and with this in mind we have created our "Thinking About Support Plan" which the staff work through with the children before the final targets are agreed. All of our staff have received Talking Mats training and we use this approach when working with our children.
Our designated Child Protection Officer is Nicola Acford and Nicola is also a member of the local Voluntary Sector Child Protection Forum. Any Child Protection concerns, questions or queries should be directed to Nicola by telephone on 01738 451081 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
